Service Description

The tour includes explanations about the actions developed in the environmental area, with a stop for planting a native tree that will be used for reforestation of the lake's banks, and a walk through the Zoo, which features native animal species from the Atlantic Forest. Duration approximately 2h30, of which approximately 30 minutes is by car, and approximately 2 hours is a light walk. From Wednesday to Monday, limited spaces and times; Included: - Transfers for the visit from hotels in the city center and/or located on the avenue on the way to the Falls; - Guides available in Spanish, English or Portuguese; (Request when booking) Excluded: - Entrance to Itaipu Biological Refuge; - Drinks; - Food; - Gratuities; - Eco-Tourism Tax; Notes: - As this is an environmental conservation unit, some sections of the walking trail are on terrain where conditions are not recommended for wheelchairs, strollers, etc. - Some animals may not be seen during visits to their enclosures due to veterinary care, weather conditions, maintenance, etc. - In addition, the tour takes place in the middle of the forest, so the use of insect repellent, sunscreen, and closed shoes is recommended; - There are drinking fountains along the way, bring your own water bottle; - Eating is not allowed on the trail. - We are in a binational security area, therefore, all visitors must pass through the security barrier with an X-ray machine and metal detector portals for the verification of belongings; - This tour may have its route altered, as needed by the Power Plant; - Some hotels in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguazú are not included in our itinerary; in this case, we will inform you of the nearest hotel as the meeting point for your pick-up. - Documentation for leaving the country is the sole responsibility of the passenger and must be up-to-date, especially if traveling with minors; Children's Policy: Children under 2 years old travel free of charge provided they do not occupy seats.
